Tv Animals and Heros

Over the years there have been many animals depicted either in animated stories , other T.V shows .Some of these charming characters either had a small part or big roles in the show .

Below is a list of some of them ..
Lassie : the ultimate dog hero .. originated in 1954 as a television series and I am sure at some stage a generation has been introduced to Lassie
Scooby Doo : with the catch phrase Hmm Ok Shaggy who cannot love Scooby doo the food addict side kick to Fred, Velma , Shaggy and Valarie ,, travelling in mystery Machine there were always fun and Ghostly things to Solve ..
Pluto .. The lovable fun dog full of mischief and owned by Mickey Mouse Pluto (formerly known as Pluto the Pup) is an animated cartoon character made famous in a series of Disney short cartoons. He has most frequently appeared as Mickey Mouse's pet dog. He also had an independent starring role in 48 Disney shorts in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s.[
Astro .. The pet animated dog of the Jetson Family leroy was his master .. series based on a futuristic family
RinTinTin The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin is an American children's television program which originally aired in 166 episodes on ABC from October 1954 until August 1959. It starred child actor Lee Aaker as Rusty, a boy orphaned in an Indian raid, who was being raised by the soldiers at a US Cavalry post. He and his German shepherd dog, Rin Tin Tin, helped the soldiers to establish order in the American West. Texas-born actor James Brown (1920-1992) appeared in every episode as Lieutenant Ripley "Rip"
Turbo .. The Police dog with a good looking Inspector Sepe to tag along . Filmed in Year 2000 . Turbo is a Sheepdog .. Really gorgeous dog hero . It was filmed in italy
Kommisar Rex..What can I say this canine hero has been a lasting part of my week since the first series came through in 1996. It is in German Subtitles but Rex the German Shepherd is just the best . The latest series was filmed in Italy . Still on SBS
Fang . The coolest mutt at Control Headquarter featured in Maxwell Smart for many years . With Max at one stage thinking it was a spy in the dog suit trick
Toto .. If you have watched Wizard of Oz this gorgeous little dog really did not like the wicked witch
Benji ..Benji is the name of a fictitious dog who has been the focus of several movies from 1974 through the 2000s, and is also the title of the first film in the series. His character is a small, lovable mixed-breed dog with an uncanny knack for being in the right place at the right time, usually helping a person overcome a problem. Joe Camp is the creator and director of the Benji films.[1]
Dino Dinosaur.. Yes Fred Flinstones doggie that sure arranged a home greeting like no other.
Muttly..Muttley is a Hanna-Barbera animated fictional character created by Iwao Takamoto and originally voiced by Don Messick (who also voiced Scooby-Doo)[1]. In the 2000 Wacky Races videogame he was voiced by Billy West[2].

Wile E Coyote. The arch enemy of the Road Runner . Always tried hard to catch his feast but always ending up second best.. Acme would have made a fortune from this crazy dog.Wile E. Coyote (also known simply as "The Coyote") and The Road Runner are cartoon characters from a series of Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons. The characters were created by animation director Chuck Jones in 1948
Top Cat ..Top Cat is a Hanna-Barbera prime time animated television series which ran from September 27, 1961 to April 18, 1962 for a run of 30 episodes . May escapades with his side kicks Benny Choo choo , Brains .. And poor officer dibble . I had the experience to see top cat in Italian and believe me it was funny.
Felix the Cat .. Felix theCat is a cartoon character created in the silent film era. His black body, white eyes, and giant grin, coupled with the surrealism of the situations in which his cartoons place him, combined to make Felix one of the most recognizable cartoon characters
Cheshire Cat (Alice in Wonderland ) The Cheshire Cat is a fictional cat popularised by Lewis Carroll's depiction of it in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Tom and Jerry .. Tom and Jerry is a series of animated theatrical shorts created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer that centered on a never-ending rivalry between a housecat (Tom) and a mouse (Jerry) whose chases and battles often involved comic violence

Yes the mouse gives him Hell .. Love Sylvester even to this day as an adult
